Justice for Gordon Cole, Jr.
The Cole family is recovering from a 15-point chokehold of injustice perpetuated by the system meant to protect them.
Justice for Gordon Cole, Jr.
Gordon Cole Jr., is a “working man’s man” who is appreciated most for doing all he can to ensure the well-being of his family. His love for others runs deep and his sense of humor spreads laughter throughout his family. Gordon is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers. Creating and listening to music is another joy in his life. Gordon has learned numerous life-lessons through various incidents, some requiring accountability and a commitment towards making healthier choices. These choices involved marrying a childhood friend from preschool and becoming a father of three.
On December 29, 2022 Gordon, his wife, and their children experienced a dangerous encounter with police while settling in for a quiet evening at home. Police misconduct and overzealous prosecution resulted in his wrongful arrest, a barrage of charges, and other harms including excessive bail and lengthy pretrial detention. A phone call to his wife resulted in an additional felony charge. Facing a system stacked against him, Cole’s supporters fought to expose the use of Chokeholds within the system, clear his name, and reunite his family.
